Quantum entanglement is a quantum phenomenon that violates the common sense of classical physics, and is an important physical resource for quantum communication and quantum computing. Among them, high-dimensional quantum entanglement has unique advantages in various quantum information tasks. Recently, the team of Professor Ma Xiaosong of the School of Physics of Nanjing University reported their latest research result "Three-dimensional entanglement on a silicon chip" in the Nature cooperation journal npj Quantum Information. The team realized the generation of high-dimensional entanglement states, filtering, regulation and other functions on silicon-based integrated optical quantum chips, and use precise on-chip quantum regulation to complete quantum simulation and quantum precise measurement and other application tasks.

The paper is publicated on NPJ Quantum Information.
